Our Stage one goal of $35,000 has been exceeded
Stage One
We are happy to announce we have exceeded our Stage One target. With the addition of the funds received to date we are now sitting with the required funds for the Municipality to produce the Engineering Design/Drawings required to apply for Grants from various Government Agencies and Private Foundations that will be necessary to finance the actual restoration. All funds that have been raised and forwarded to the Historical Society have been deposited into our Lighthouse Restoration Fund segregated bank account with the First Ontario Credit Union branch in Tillsonburg.

* The Church of Perpetual Faith in Music's summer 2025 concert series raised $10,000
* Doug Park has raised over $5,200 through the sale of pins and the Rogers employee fund
* The Vienna Lions presented us with $875 through the sale of candles and a donation
* An online auction run by Roy Sullivan raised $4,000
* And from donations large and small from a caring community.

On March 1st, Katy and Tim Wells pulled it off. After months of hard work, dedication and perseverance the "Light Up Our Winter" concert became a reality. Through a myriad of revenue streams (ticket sales, merchandize, silent auction, 50/50 draw and donations) Katy & Tim raised a total of $11,006.00 Pictured here presenting their cheque to Bill Ball - President and Roy Sullivan - Secretary/Treasurer of the Port Burwell Historical Society.

VIENNA LIONS DONATE TO THE LIGHTHOUSE RESTORATION
Thank You Vienna Lions
The Vienna Lions continue to work for the betterment of the Municipality and its constituents. Recently they ran a fundraiser selling Save the Lighthouse candles and ran various Lion events at the Vienna Community Centre.
On Thursday, February 6th, Lions President Bruce Carmichael presented a check for $875 to Roy Sullivan - Secretary/Treasurer of the Port Burwell Historical Society.
